Cachoeiro Stone Fair 2026 brings together Qualified Buyers, Strong Sales and International Connections

The traditional trade show received more than 200 brands, visitors from 25 countries and reinforces Cachoeiro de Itapemirim as a strategic hub for business, technology and innovation in the natural stone industry

The 2026 edition of Cachoeiro Stone Fair came to an end reaffirming one of the key pillars that has sustained the event for more than three decades: its ability to bring together natural stone producers, machinery and equipment manufacturers, suppliers, stone fabricators, architects, national and international buyers in the same environment, all focused on concrete business opportunities.

This year’s edition welcomed 14,752 visitors from 25 countries and more than 200 exhibiting brands. The activity observed throughout the three-day event also reinforced a perception shared by exhibitors and partners: reducing the trade show’s duration to three days helped make the event more focused and efficient, concentrating the audience around industry professionals with a clear interest in business.

“Exhibitors expressed a high level of satisfaction with the results. We had a more streamlined, organized and efficient trade show for business prospecting. Visitors came with a very clear focus on negotiations,” says Bismarck Bachiete, President of Sindirochas.

For Rafael Acipreste, Director of Milgran, more than ten participations in Cachoeiro Stone Fair have proven that the event moved beyond the traditional concept of a trade show a long time ago. The company prepares for its participation well in advance, bringing customers to its factories and using the event as part of a commercial strategy that combines relationship-building, experience and conversion.

“For those who do not believe trade shows generate sales, we sell at the trade show. August, when Cachoeiro Stone Fair takes place, is usually a record sales month for Milgram”, he says. Considering the pre-show period, the three days of the event and the post-show period, the company estimates that it will generate more than BRL 8 million in business across domestic and international markets.

Tales Machado, President of Centrorochas, also highlighted the significant volume of qualified visitors. “Unlike previous years, when the first day had a more institutional and ceremonial character, this time we started with a strong presence of visitors. Although we expected a natural decrease on the final day, we maintained a steady flow of high-quality visitors, including numerous industry professionals and qualified customers. In conversations with other business owners, I noticed a general feeling of satisfaction and the closing of numerous deals. The event exceeded expectations, once again consolidating its position as our main driver of commercial opportunities and results,” he says.

New Materials and Finishes Take Center Stage

While tradition remains one of the event’s key strengths, innovation is what drives its evolution with each edition. The presentation of new stones, machinery and equipment launches, new supplies and, above all, demonstrations of new possibilities for using established materials were among the highlights of this year’s event.

Superclássico, for example, brought a new version of Matrix to the trade show, a material with more than 23 years of history and an established presence in international markets. This year, the company sought to broaden perceptions of the product’s application possibilities, traditionally associated with façades and flooring.

“Our goal is to showcase the versatility of Matrix for countertops and outdoor gourmet areas with built-in grills, since the material can withstand high temperatures and allows finishes such as brushed surfaces, which are a strong aesthetic trend. Here, architects, designers and customers can touch the material, feel its texture and experience its quality. This interaction strengthens business relationships,” explains Cristovão Altoé de Angeli, the company’s Commercial Director.

At Magnitos, this edition’s focus was on high-demand materials such as Vancouver quartzite and Atlas granite. According to Marcelle Magnago, CMO, the main result was the quality of the contacts generated. “The overall result is very positive, with an extremely qualified flow of visitors. We noticed that those who attended this year were genuinely interested in the industry and in doing business, which raised the level of interactions.”

Iven Stone had a similar experience. According to Daniel Ades, the company was looking to increase brand awareness outside São Paulo and found the trade show to be an opportunity to reach new markets. “We received a significant number of potential customers, many of whom had already visited our new showroom in Cachoeiro, and we have already entered into concrete negotiations. We achieved the objectives we had set and are very satisfied.”

Technology Accelerates Industry Transformation

Technological development also took center stage among the machinery, equipment and supplies exhibitors at the trade show. Manufacturers presented solutions focused on productivity, precision, waste reduction and more sustainable industrial processes.

For Márcio José Migliavacca, CEO of Rexfort, the trade show is a strategic platform for bringing the industry closer to the market’s real needs. “It is a fundamental opportunity to present advances in machinery, technology and innovation. Brazil’s geological diversity requires increasingly specialized solutions, and the event is an essential platform for demonstrating these technologies and strengthening relationships with customers and partners.”

At Cobral, which has participated since the trade show’s first edition, innovation was also among the main highlights. The company presented CD Premium and launched Abrazil Prensado, produced using Chinese technology acquired by the company.

“Cachoeiro Stone Fair is a showcase for innovation. Cachoeiro is the birthplace of stone and the epicenter of our market. Being here is essential for sharing new technologies that contribute to the development of the entire industry,” says Carolina Gonçalves, from Cobral’s Commercial and Marketing team.

Block Sales Drive Business at the Trade Show

One of the event’s most visually striking and commercially relevant areas, the Block Street reinforced the importance of presenting natural stone in its raw form, bringing buyers closer to the origin of the materials.

MGA brought 19 blocks to this edition and estimates that it generated between BRL 1.5 million and BRL 1.8 million in business. According to CEO Luiz Alberto Altoé, displaying blocks allows buyers to identify characteristics that cannot be perceived when stone is presented only as a processed slab.

“When customers see the block, they can understand the stone as it really is, from its origin and in its raw form, and gain a better understanding of the material’s full potential,” he says.

The strategy also produced significant results for Marbrasa, which brought seven blocks to the trade show and had already recorded five completed sales, in addition to two negotiations in their final stages. The materials on display included quartzites, granite and marble, with prices reaching approximately BRL 160,000 per block.

According to Bruno Nascimento, Sales Coordinator, displaying blocks expands the trade show’s commercial reach. “We were able to reach different audiences. Many customers already know Marbrasa, but we also have people who arrive, see the blocks and then discover our products.”

Business Meetings Connect International Buyers with Brazilian Suppliers

Internationalization was also at the heart of the Buyer Program, which brought Brazilian companies together with buyers from different markets. The initiative expands business opportunities and allows buyers to learn not only about the products, but also about quarries, factories and stone processing operations.

This was the case for Polish buyer Katarzyna Soltysia, from Magma, who has been importing Brazilian materials for eight years and attended Cachoeiro Stone Fair for the first time. Particularly interested in quartzites, she discovered new materials to evaluate for the Polish market.

“I found some new materials that I believe could work in the Polish market. Revolution, for example, caught my attention because of its reddish tone. We currently have nothing similar in stock, and I believe it would be interesting to test. Materials from the Alpino line and similar products are also well accepted in my country,” she says.

From Mexico, Hayari Ballesteros of Stonehaus also had a positive assessment of the experience. With 16 years of experience in the industry, she highlighted the importance of gaining a deeper understanding of the diversity of Brazilian materials.

“We are very accustomed to the more commercial and well-known materials. But by gaining a better understanding of the scale of the Brazilian market, we realized that there is a much greater variety of materials and possibilities. There is an opportunity for every customer and every project,” she says.

The Fair as a Catalyst for Business and Market Positioning

A highly qualified audience was mentioned by several companies as one of the key differentiators of this edition. For Cadu Maia, Commercial Director of Nebrax, the trade show works less as a place for immediate deal-making and more as a catalyst for business that develops through relationship-building.

“Exhibitors’ booths are becoming increasingly sophisticated, focusing less on simply displaying the raw material and more on application experiences, color innovations and the overall experience provided to visitors. When an exhibitor makes a strategic investment in its positioning and the audience is highly qualified, we have the perfect synergy,” says Maia.

Investment in booth design and production was also a decisive factor in the Conexões que Movem Award, which recognized the most creative and innovative booth projects capable of providing memorable experiences for visitors across three categories. Monte Negro was the overall winner in all three: Best Natural Stone Booth, Best Visitor Experience and Most Creative Booth. Aço Art stood out by winning Best Machinery and Technology Booth, while Nebrax won Best Supplies and Solutions Booth. Winners were selected through a popular vote by trade show visitors.

According to Milanez & Milaneze, organizer of Cachoeiro Stone Fair, this movement toward innovation and creativity seen with each edition helps explain the event’s longevity. Over more than 35 years, the trade show has followed the industry’s transformation, incorporated new technologies, expanded its presence and established itself as an environment that connects supply and demand.

“We are closing this edition with the certainty that Cachoeiro Stone Fair continues to evolve alongside the industry. The qualified audience, the presence of visitors from all Brazilian states, the strong international attendance and the generation of business demonstrate that, after more than three decades, the trade show remains an important hub for connections, innovation and opportunities across the entire natural stone industry value chain,” says Flávia Milaneze, CEO of Milanez & Milaneze.

The next edition of Cachoeiro Stone Fair is already scheduled for August 24 – 26, 2027.
